La Mosquée

La Grande Mosquée de Paris, a restaurant and tearoom on the Left Bank, transports diners to North Africa. La Mosquée evokes the French Colonial Fez or Algiers, both indoors—with the exquisite Arabesque arches, Moroccan tiles, cushioned banquettes, and round copper tables—and out on the patio surrounded by fountains and a Moorish garden. Located within the city's largest mosque, the tearoom serves mint tea, Turkish coffee and North African pastries, while the dining area is the place for tagines of lamb, chicken, or vegetables.
