This wine store-cum-restaurant is a new idiom on the Parisian dining scene, and a welcome one. Applying a caviste’s knowledge of wine and an innate French sense of food, Le Muse Vin’s bistro and wine bar offers a three-course bistronomy menu and a convivial atmosphere in its intimate Bastille storefront. Small, zinc-topped tables set among the shelves of wine (with extensive organic selections) create the scene for affordable, traditional dishes with “creative touches,” such as carpaccio de Saint Jacques with lime or pork chop in Indonesian curry.
