Tech Thursday: The Perfect Laptop/Tablet Bag

201205-b-tote-bagjpg

Sometimes it can be hard to find a decent bag to carry your laptop in that isn’t absolutely hideous. Most of the time, it seems like the laptop cases the average store stocks are the generic, bulky, black nylon cases. No personality, no style. Blech.

That being said, I was delighted to find the latest collection of gear-centric bags from Hex: their Fleet collection. The assortment of bags ranges from backpacks to messenger bags to totes, which I opted for myself. They’re delightfully spring-y, but the best part is, each one comes with a cushion-padded sleeve perfect for protecting your device, whether it’s a laptop or a tablet.

I also love that you don’t even need to be carrying around a laptop to justify carrying the bag with you; they’re all versatile enough to simply rely on as your go-to, everyday bag. (I took it on a recent trip to Miami, and it proved to not only be a perfect under-the-seat carry-on bag, but a great beach bag.)

$39.95–79.95; shophex.com
