Buenos Aires' New Clubby Hangout

There’s a new hangout in Buenos Aires for guests staying at Oasis Collections properties. Six months and $200,000 in the making, The Oasis Clubhouse debuted this past weekend in the dining and shopping enclave of Palermo Soho. All patrons staying at an Oasis Collections design-focused condo, apartment, or villa in the city have access to the clubhouse.

The four-story industrial space features a sink pool fringed with 65-foot, ivy-disguised walls, and a contemporary alfresco bar. The refurbished digs also have three artfully decorated rooms available for booking, including The Master—an Asian-influenced suite with a private terrace, double-rainfall shower, and personal sauna.

At the weekly SunDay pool party, chorizo and slabs of that famous, grass-fed Argentine beef will sizzle on the parrilla-style grill, while a DJ spins tunes. Other plans call for private concerts and art exhibitions; screening of the Oscar-nominated flick Kavi with director Gregg Helvey; and cooking tutorial led by a head chef at nearby Osaka, often praised for having the city’s best sushi.

The three American owners of Oasis Collections, which rents properties in Uruguay, Brazil and Colombia, in addition to Argentina, plan to introduce clubhouses to other locations in the future. If the hype for the B.A. edition is any barometer, they’ll be a success.
