Bought sight unseen by a California doctor in 1972, the site of El Pescador enjoys some covetable sandy shores on Ambergris Caye, off the coast of Belize. Located just a few miles north of the isle's busy tourist town of San Pedro, the resort is made up of a two-story mahogany colonial lodge and three-bedroom, three-bath luxury villas.
