Burritos, Dim Sum, Shopping in San Francisco....Airport!

I'm a huge fan of flying United to SFO—the PS flights are my favorite. Another enticement has sweetened the deal: SFO's Terminal 3, the United terminal, has some terrific new food and shopping options.

The new Harmony Pharmacy is a welcome sight for any traveler.  You can stock up on travel-size everything that you might have forgotten, as well as full sized beauty products from lines such as Mario Badescu, Dr. Hauschka, and Floris. I am a new fan popping one of their e-Boost vitamins before my flight. The men's selection is especially good.

After you've shopped, you can snack on some actually-pretty-good dim sum made fresh every day at Fung Lum restaurant (try the pork dumplings), or a burrito at Andale.  While they're famous for their burritos, I'm partial to the Chile Relleno at Andale.  The staff are friendly, and the food is fresh and a great value.  The terminal itself is spacious and has a mellow vibe—the opposite of Newark on a Friday night—so hopefully you can bring some West Coast mellow on your flight home, too.
