Getting to Vancouver by train
Amtrak (www.amtrak.com) serves Vancouver directly from Seattle, with once-daily service in each direction. Fares are incredibly reasonable starting at C$36.25 (about US$35) Note that Amtrak also offers bus service on this route-priced the same, but a real disappointment when you're expecting a train.
