Tipping in Madrid
Tipping is very, very light in Madrid, lighter than most Americans can normally stomach. A simple coffee gets no tip at all and, most bizarrely, taxi drivers are also never tipped - most own their routes so it's akin to tipping the salon owner after a hair cut.
