Organizing a trip to Luang Prabang
There are direct flights from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, and Siem Reap to Luang Prabang International Airport (LPQ). A passport valid for six
months from date of arrival and a visa are required for entry. Visas
can be obtained at the airport but are best arranged in advance from
the embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Washington, D.C.
