Winter is a great time for U.S. city breaks, and travelers can snag post-holiday discounts via destination-specific Twitter feeds launched by airfare aggregators.
Under the formula @flyFromXXX (e.g., @flyFromNYC), FareCompare tracks deals for flights leaving from 170 domestic airports (go to farecompare.com/resources/twitter/twitter.htm).
Travelzoo’s fly.com services 30 cities nationwide from San Francisco (@SFfares) to Atlanta (@ATLfares). At press time, we found round-trip tickets from Washington, D.C., to L.A. on @DCFares for $219.
