When to go to Dublin
If you’re after fine weather and blooming gardens, your best bet is to come in late spring and summer (May and June are best of all). If it’s a party you want, come in early October, when the Dublin Theatre Festival is on—or, naturally, around St. Patrick’s Day, when there’s a citywide five-day festival culminating with a parade (www.stpatricksday.ie).
