Weekly street festivals in St. Lucia
Every Friday evening, the population of Gros Islet village spills onto
the streets for a rowdy dance party, complete with jerk chicken and
plenty of rum. A similar fête, called the Friday-Night Fish Fry,
happens down the coast in Anse La Raye.
