Ferries in Sydney
Since many of Sydney’s neighborhoods lie along the water, traveling by ferry is an efficient—as well as scenic and cheap—way to get around. The hub for Sydney Ferries (www.sydneyferries.info) is at Circular Quay; boats leave all day long, usually every 15-30 minutes, for areas like Mosman, Darling Harbour, and Manly Beach. Multiride passes are available at Circular Quay, or you can pay per fare right on the boat (most trips cost around $5-$6).
