When to go to Montreal
Though Montreal has its pleasures in the winter (skating, dining, beer drinking), it comes alive in summer, when the gardens are blooming and the denizens are celebrating the return of warmer temperatures. May through September are ideal months to visit. If you like music, the Jazz Fest in July is a must.
