Getting around in Minneapolis/St. Paul
If you plan to stay in downtown Minneapolis during most of your stay, you can get by without a car and use light rail, call taxis, or walk. If you hope to explore much of the Twin Cities, rent a car. Parking in downtown is relatively hassle-free, but be sure to have a roll of quarters on hand for hungry street meters or cash for parking garages.
