The Las Vegas Monorail

It costs $5 a ride, stretches the full length of the Strip (from the Sahara to the MGM Grand), makes stops in seven stations, and runs 24 hours a day. It’s the best form of transportation to take during the most crowded convention times (and on New Year’s Eve, when the Strip is closed to traffic). However, the route runs behind the hotels and casinos on the eastern side of the Strip, and it can be a long walk down the block, then through a crowded casino (or two) to get to the Strip.
