Getting to Hong Kong by air

Cathay Pacific has nonstop flights between Chek Lap Kok Airport and New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles (and a terrific 40,000-square-foot business lounge known as The Wing). Most major hotels have free shuttle pickup at the airport, but there’s also an express railway service that runs to points in Central district every 12 minutes. Metered taxis are also plentiful at the airport arrivals area; fare to the major hotel zones usually costs $35-$50.
