When to go to the Bahamas
As in the rest of the Caribbean, the high season here runs roughly between December and April, with the tourist crowds spiking over the weeks of Christmas (which is also the week of Junkanoo) and spring break. The weather during these months is usually near-perfect, with lots of sun and daily temperatures averaging around 75 degrees. During the other six months of the year, things get hotter, stickier, and more hurricane-prone.
