Copenhagen Opera House
Standing on the edge of the harbor is the two-year-old Henning Larsen-designed opera house—a soaring glass-and-steel response to the classical and surpassingly regal Amalienborg Palace (the residence of the royal family) across the water. It's open for tours highlighting the architecture and backstage areas.
