Dragon Room at the Pink Adobe
The iconic Pink Adobe restaurant, which is housed in a 400-year-old building and has been going strong since 1944, has one undeniably wonderful thing going for it: the always-packed Dragon Room lounge. The bar occupies a dimly lit 1970’s addition (New Mexico’s first solar-heated building) with elm trees growing straight through the ceiling; on any given night, a convivial cross-section of local movers and shakers (many of them from Santa Fe’s art scene) can be found here listening to live salsa and jazz performers.
