The weather in Melbourne is notably unexpected, changing from bright and sunny to wet and stormy in a matter of minutes. Leaving the house, Airbnb, or hotel with outfits for every situation is asking a lot — especially when you've only got a small suitcase to store things in — so one designer created the ultimate jacket for those looking to visit Melbourne, or any destination with unpredictable weather, really.

The Melbourne Jacket is great for a number of situations, according to the creator: "Bloody Raining, Bloody Boiling, Bloody Windy, Bloody Storming, Bloody Freezing, Bloody Asthma Storms, Bloody Hailing, and Bloody Sun-Rain."

Couldn't have described those better myself, to be honest.

To an outsider, it doesn't look like much more than a weatherproof jacket. But take a closer look and you'll discover that it's actually a single and double-layered jacket, a legionnaires hat, a pair of flip-flops, a ski mask, a pair of gloves, a card holder, a storm respirator, a poncho, a set of smartpockets, an electronic heating system, a dog raincoat, a baby bib, and rain chaps all rolled up into one jacket.

As you can see, this combination of items could be useful for all kinds of locations: Iceland with its on-again, off-again snowstorms, Wisconsin with its impromptu summer showers, or Dubai with its blazing mornings and chilly evenings. Despite its name, it deserves a spot in your suitcase for far more vacations than just Melbourne.
