Look your best, rain or shine.
Spring is in the air, and with longer and warmer days finally ahead of us, now may be a good time to dry clean your bulky winter coats and hang them in your closet for the foreseeable future.
The season of lightweight outerwear has sprouted (pardon the pun) and has brought with it some seriously chic options that will carry you though the next few months of sun and, let’s face it, the occasional spring shower. And if you’re traveling this season, you need to be ready for any weather scenario nature throws at you.
If you ask us, there’s nothing more comfortable than a good old denim jacket — and it seems like designers agree. Opt for a classic trucker style in an oversized cut or a more fitted version with an artsy update in the form of floral embroidery.
Another springtime staple is the classic black leather jacket. If you’re not a fan of wearing dark colors, though, go for for a light beige shade or even white. And speaking of colors, pink is making a comeback this spring — but don’t worry, that doesn’t mean all of us are going to walk around looking like Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde." Instead of hot pink, designers are offering a variety of cool designs in pale and seashell pink that are surprisingly easy to pull off.
