This Travel Hoodie Was Inspired by Koalas

This company thinks the koala is the most hoodie-appropriate animal.

Cozy, cuddly clothing.

We all have our spirit animals, some more cuddly than others.

One new Kickstarter campaign is taking the spirit of the koala and channeling it into a tricked-out hoodie, perfect for travelers.

The Koala hoodie aims to make sleeping on the go as easy as possible. It comes loaded with a neck pillow and hood that turns into an eye mask. There’s even additional cushioning built into the hood, so wearers can fall asleep wherever they please.

According to the company, the koala is the ultimate hoodie icon. They are “hardly ever distracted and masters in the art of deep relaxation.”

And the hoodie does more than just make on-the-go napping easy. It will also charge up your phone, give you a mini flashlight whenever you need it and store all your stuff. There are pockets galore for people who tend to misplace everything: a pen pocket, a glasses pocket, a passport pocket and even a mystery pocket hidden somewhere inside the hoodie that owners will have to dig around to find.

The Koala Hoodie is available on Kickstarter.

The Koala Hoodie has many important features, but there are two that really make it unique: Our favorite is the zipper that doubles as a bottle opener, but everybody stuck in close quarters with a Koala Hoodie owner will be most grateful for the built-in armpit vents.
