Dededo, Guam: Micronesia Mall

Perhaps because of its unlikely location—dead center in Guam’s largest (700,000-square-foot) shopping plaza—the “Holiday Lights Experience” at Micronesia Mall is a special favorite of ours. The show is focused around a 35-foot artificial tree, and incorporates 40,000 music-synched, strategically blinking lights and strobes; a Super Train that families can ride in during the show; and four DMX-controlled aroma machines that reproduce the smell of a real pine tree.
