World's Best Holiday Light Displays
Orlando, Florida: Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios
Nobody does spectacle like Disney, and the annual Christmas extravaganza at Hollywood Studios—known as “The Osborne Dancing Christmas Lights”—is suitably excessive. More than five million lights (that’s 10 miles of light cords) are used to adorn the backlot known as New York Street; every 15 minutes the entire lot flares to life in a flashing, sweeping, choreographed routine set to music. During the show, 30-odd “snow” machines pump artificial flakes into the air.
