Special Correspondent Peter Jon Lindberg has been editing and writing for Travel + Leisure since 1994, and is the author of more than 60 features and essays for the magazine. The Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) named him a "Journalist of the Year" in 2005, when he was also a finalist for a James Beard Foundation Award. He is a graduate of Harvard University, where he was Managing Editor of the Let's Go travel guide series. More recently, his work for Travel +Leisure has taken him to Vietnam, Croatia, India, Iceland, Hong Kong, Australia, Brazil, Borneo, and the exotic reaches of Brooklyn, NY, where he lives with his wife, T+L Features Editor Niloufar Motamed.
