Despite a color palette seemingly inspired by the Nordic winter (slate gray; stark white; deep brown), the latest hotel in Stockholm’s central square is far from icy. Owners Alessandro and Stefano Catenacci’s pioneering Italian restaurant Caina has been reborn in the Nobis with a menu of seasonal rustic Italian dishes. For an after-hours splurge there’s the glamorous Gold Bar downstairs, or just turn in: mini-bars in all 201 wood-paneled rooms (designed by Swedish starchitect Claesson Koivisto Rune) are stocked with decadent treats such as Taittinger champagne and hemp chocolate.
