#1 Salt Lake City (SLC)

Flights delayed: 14%*

Salt Lake came roaring back into the top spot this year, after losing the title in 2007. The airport recaptured whatever magic it possessed in 2006, when its delays were also at just 14%.

*Figures indicate the percentage of all flights that departed more than 15 minutes behind schedule from January 1, 2008, to August 31, 2008, and are from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
