Under Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant group, this 90-seat restaurant inside the boutique York & Albany hotel has a more casual feel than his other establishments. The airy upstairs bar features gray walls, high-back chairs, and huge glass windows overlooking a patio. On the other hand, the downstairs dining room has dim lighting, dark red chairs, walls covered in red fabric, and an open kitchen that affords a glimpse of head chef Colin Buchan in action. Although the menu claims "elegant Mediterranean cuisine," Young & Albany serves Italian, Spanish, and French dishes with few Mediterranean classics. A breakfast menu is also available, as is the ever-popular Sunday roast.
