Since 1869, Sostanza has been a quintessential Florentine trattoria. Its white-tiled walls are plastered with autographed photos of celebrities who have sat on the long wood benches and eaten the succulent bistecca alla fiorentina (T-bone porterhouse).
We loved: Bistecca alla fiorentina with white beans and roasted potatoes.
