Located in the basement of the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall, this Michelin-rated restaurant is a downtown favorite for pre-theater dining and special occasions. Patrons can sit at white-clothed tables in the main dining room, surrounded by a rippling “curtain” of wood, or dine al fresco on Patina’s quiet garden patio. The menu features French cuisine from Loire Valley-born chef Tony Esnault and includes such highlights as the butter-poached lobster and veal rack for two. In addition to the entrées, diners give high marks to the award-winning wine list, impressive tea cart, and mignardises (complimentary bite-sized desserts).
