In the three years since Argyro Barbarigou relocated her restaurant from the island of Paros to Athens's residential Lycabettus neighborhood, she has become a media darling, with her own television show and a successful cookbook series. Papadakis is known both for Barbarigou's outstanding seafood preparations and for the superb view of the Acropolis from the grass-green dining room.
We loved: Octopus cooked in sweet wine with shredded potatoes.
