Rome

Osteria del Pesce

32 Via di Monserrato
Rome, Italy
TEL: 39-06-686-5617
Arguably the best—and certainly the most fashionable—fish restaurant in Rome, this osteria, which looks like an upscale pescheria (fish market), showcases the best of the day’s catch, handpicked in the village of Terracina along the Lazio coast each morning. Highlights include simply but flawlessly prepared sea bass carpaccio, and secondi such as grilled langoustine.

  • Not worth the price

The Osteria del Pesce does decent fish, but at prices that would give me excellent fish in most other cities. We paid more than $150 per person for our dinner, expected flawlessness, and were very disappointed.
