Olympic Provisions is a salumeria, deli, restaurant, and bar that opened in 2009. The Southeast branch, located in a former warehouse, prepares soups, salads, and sandwiches at lunch. Platters of salumi (Italian-cured meats) and charcuterie might include finocchiona, a salami with fennel seed and garlic; the Spanish-style sausage chorizo Navarre with smoked paprika and cayenne; or pork liver mousse. A dinner that changes seasonally may include pan-roasted octopus or choucroute, a dish comprised of sauerkraut, pork, and potatoes. There is a Euro-centric wine list, as well as an expansive menu of spirits and cocktails.
Insider Tip:
After dinner, stroll two blocks to the Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade, a pedestrian and bicycle path that runs along the Willamette River.
