Located inside the Waikiki Parc Hotel, this upscale Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant is part of an international chain owned by world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Designed by David Rockwell, the dining room contains ash wood tables, a sushi bar, large contemporary art panels, and clusters of dim light fixtures resembling fishermen’s nets. The menu features many of chef Matsuhisa’s signature dishes, including his famous yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño, and black cod with miso glaze. The restaurant also serves specialty cocktails like the award-winning Smoking Gun margarita, made with Cazadoras tequila, blood orange, passion fruit, and a smoked macadamia nut rim.

Budget-minded diners should check out the lounge area, where many of the restaurant’s best dishes (including the yellowtail sashimi) are available in small plate portions for $10 or less.
