North End
Marco, Boston
Known for his French cuisine at Pigalle, Boston chef Marc Orfaly now transports North End diners to Rome at Marco. Inside the second-story trattoria, a working fireplace welcomes guests into the dining room, which features exposed brick walls and antique wood beams across the ceiling. Although seasonally changing, the menu includes well-loved dishes like homemade gnocchi with brown butter and sage, veal ossobuco with risotto Milanese, and Lobster scampi. On Sunday evenings, the chef prepares a family-style menu, featuring larger portions that are designed for sharing.
Insider Tip:
Don't think you can finish an entire plate of pasta? Many of Orfaly's pasta dishes are available in half-size portions cutting down on both leftovers and price.
