Lucques
West Hollywood, CA, 90069, United States
Harold Lloyd’s former West Hollywood carriage house now belongs to chef Suzanne Goin and sommelier Caroline Styne. A Spanish tiled roof protects the brick-walled dining room and patio, which the duo punctuates with plants. Chef Goin looks to the seasons for inspiration, an approach that results in dishes like grilled chicken with risotto carbonara and wild mushrooms; and endive with Dungeness crab, sugar snap peas, and curry cream. Styne assembled an accessible wine list, and they also serve market-driven cocktails. Sunday Suppers at Lucques consist of three courses, and even motivated a cookbook by the same name.
Insider Tip:
Lucques is around the corner from Melrose Place, which doesn’t just exist on television, and the street houses several high-end boutiques.
