Monte Carlo
Le Castelroc
Castelroc has been around since Grace Kelly and Cary Grant first came to the Riviera to film To Catch a Thief in 1955. It has a prime location, right across from the Prince’s Palace, and serves Monégasque specialties, such as barbajuans, a fried ravioli-like appetizer stuffed with Swiss chard, spinach, and ricotta. Try the locally renowned esto-caficada (stockfish), a rich cod stew with an unmistakably pungent aroma.
