Lágrimas Negras

Designed by Christian Liaigre, the Lágrimas Negras restaurant is furnished with muted dark-wood furniture, slatted blinds, and low-hung lights enveloped by large red tassels. The restaurant is located inside the avant-garde Hotel Silken Puerta de América, which was a design collaboration among 19 contemporary architects. The menu includes starters like wild dove salad, followed by cod cheeks in garlic and olive oil with clams. The restaurant also contains a more casual backlit bar which displays the contents of the 700-label wine cellar. In addition to free parking, Lágrimas Negras also provides free shoeshine kits and toothbrushes in the bathrooms.
