6th Arrondissement (St.-Germain)
KGB
St. Germain
Paris, 75006, France
One lofty dining room, decorated with bright and bold contemporary paintings on every available wall, serves as the annex to chef William Ledeuil’s wildly popular Ze Kitchen Galerie in St. Germain. Open since 2009, KGB (Kitchen Galerie Bis) is the slightly more affordable and less fussy restaurant focusing primarily on small plates, which they cleverly call “zors d’oeuvres.” Much like neighboring Ze, edgy French dishes are flecked with Asian flavors, such as suckling Pyrénées lamb in Thai jus or the confit and roasted apple with black currant and ginger ice cream.
Insider Tip:
While most come to KGB for the small plates, the main courses and tasting menu match the quality of those offered at Ze but are more reasonably priced.
