Gyoza Stadium

Located inside the indoor mulit-attraction extravaganza called Namjatown, the stadium's riotous kitschy sprawl is part pinball-like pachinko parlor, part nostalgia ride through 50's Japan. Socialist-realist portraits of famed gyoza chefs from various prefectures decorated faux-rustic booths hawking their creations: delicate fried shrimp and shiso-leaf pouches; nouvelle multicolored gyoza with black-vinegar dipping sauce; fat Okinawan pork dumplings in spicy oil.
