Midtown East
Grill Room at the Four Seasons
The Grill Room at the Four Seasons on East 52nd Street is a New York City classic—with the price tag to prove it. For more than 50 years its walnut paneling, floor-to-ceiling windows with chain curtains, and hanging bronze rods have set the scene for everything from major life events to power lunches. John F. Kennedy celebrated his 45th birthday here, and the Grill Room has also played host to modern-day celebs like Jodie Foster and Denzel Washington. Signature menu items include Block Island black bass, filet of Dover sole, Maryland crab, sirloin steak au poivre, and filet of bison in truffle sauce.
Insider Tip:
The restaurant is on East 52nd, between Lexington and Park avenues–not to be confused with the Four Seasons Hotel on East 57th, between Madison and Park.
