Driskill Grill

The Driskill Grill, located in the luxury hotel of the same name on the corner of Congress Avenue and 6th Street in downtown Austin, retains in its wood paneling, etched glass, and plush chairs (with embroidered stars to remind guests which state they are in) the turn-of-the-century flair envisioned by the wealthy cattle baron whose name is on the building. The Driskill Grill offers farm-to-table cuisine highlighting locally sourced produce and meat. Popular dishes include the lobster bisque and the dry-aged ribeye with bleu cheese and fingerling potatoes.
