Cumaná

1149 Rodriguez Peña
Buenos Aires, Argentina
TEL: 54-11-4813-9207

Located in the Recoleta neighborhood, Cumaná serves both Argentine dishes and non-traditional fare like wood-fired pizzas. Lanterns and shelves of ornamental bottles decorate the bright, orange walls. A menu of items baked in the adobe oven, include the humita (a mix of corn, cheese, and spices wrapped in a cornhusk) and locros (a stew of pork belly, chorizo sausage, and vegetables), as well as a Neopolitan pizza with cheese, basil, and tomato. House red wine is served in pinguinos (penguin-shaped jugs), and crayons are provided for drawing on the paper tablecloths.

Insider Tip:

If you are looking for a more quiet experience, dine between 4 and 7, which is typically the least crowded period of the day here.
