The Chocolate Bar

It’s hard not to feel like a kid inside this River Oaks candy store. Shades of purple fill the shop, which, as the name suggests, sells everything chocolate, including chocolate-covered popcorn, candy bars, cookies, chocolate-dipped fruits and even chocolate pizza. The Texas Frito Brittle, a blend of chocolate, Fritos, pretzels and pecans, is a customer favorite as is Aunt Etta's cake. Tables are available for those who can’t wait to get home to sample their goodies, and those less enthusiastic about chocolate can sample ice cream flavors like lemon velvet, snow berry and orange sunrise.
