The baristas pull organic, single-origin, shade-grown espresso at Blue Bottle's Ferry Building café and coffee counter. The main café is located in the central arcade and offers caramelized, made-to-order Belgian waffles between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. The second, "secret" coffee counter is situated by the building's north entrance. In keeping with Blue Bottle's coffee-geek ethos, all beans have been roasted within the past 48 hours, and every cup of joe is brewed individually at the drip bar.

The long line gives you time to come up with a creative moniker to give the barista, especially if you have a more common name.
