Barclay Prime

237 S. 18th St.
Philadelphia, PA, United States
TEL: (215) 732-7560

Barclay Prime is a multi-room steakhouse housed on the first floor of what was once The Barclay, a luxury hotel built in 1929. The design is part old-school, part modern: Black and white marble floors, dark, wood-paneled walls, and crystal chandeliers contrast with bright yellow and white leather chairs and boldly patterned ottomans. Barclay Prime has a complete raw bar in addition to cooked dishes like Kobe sliders, a double-cut lamb chop, and the house specialty — a 28-day, dry-aged New York strip. The 14-page wine list includes sparkling wines, domestic producers, and labels from all over Europe and South America, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Insider Tip:

The restaurant is located on the southeast corner of Rittenhouse Square, making it a nice spot to begin a post-dinner stroll around the park.
