Bar Acuda

A list of 50 wines with a focus on Rhone-style varieties, half of them offered by the glass, accompanies the Spanish-style tapas dishes at Kauai's Bar Acuda in Hanalei. Dine inside at candelit tables with accents such as earth-tone textured walls, framed photos of local scenery, and opened awning windows, or among the trees on the terrace. Chef-owner Jim Moffat has toured the Mediterranean region and brings the flavors of those countries as well as local ingredients to dishes like Kauai honeycomb with goat cheese, greens, and apples, and Portuguese salt cod with potatoes.
