Academy Café

Run by celebrated chef Charles Phan (formerly of the Slanted Door), the Academy Café is a casual, cafeteria-style eatery located in Golden Gate Park’s California Academy of Sciences. The café contains a variety of international food stations as well as simple metallic tables, a large fish tank, and a glass wall facing the outdoor patio, which provides additional seating and views of the surrounding park. Menu items range from Vietnamese spring rolls to Niman Ranch pork tacos and kid-friendly options like macaroni and cheese. Desserts like the mango pot de crème receive high marks, as well.
