Like so much in St. Petersburg, the menu at this corner restaurant owes a debt to the French. The creamy lobster fricassee isn't just for show, and the scallops stewed in garlic sauce are surprisingly tender. Also excellent is the Russian haute cuisine: delicate smoked sturgeon, blini with caviar.
